DESCRIPTION: Former sandstone mill in Matlock, Derbyshire. Refurbished with the aim of conserving many of the original features. The boundary wall was reinstated using stone from a local quarry. The two buildings were connected by introducing a double height, glazed stair core, setback from the original building line to create a clear distinction between the old and new.
