PROJECT: Rural Nursery Design Competition.

DESCRIPTION: We were asked by the Council to produce a scheme for a rural nursery designed to accommodate fifty children and fifteen members of staff.  The brief specified the need for a building which connects its users with its rural location  as well as providing facilities such as a stimulating outdoor play area and a ‘forest school’. The competition was run in stages and whilst we didn't win we reached the final stage and was 'highly recommended' by the competition panel.
